Carmel Riboch
Carmel Riboch is an electronic music producer whose work ranges from stripped-back abstractions of club music, made with self-made digital instruments, to breakbeat-based dance music.
On saga.domaine: OX-I (2024) was first released in 2021 as a final project at Musrara School of Art. Built from Max/MSP jams, it uses very low basses, very high glitches, dub pads, and FM synths, with rhythms drawing on African music and memories of the dance floor. Little Tragedy (2025), released as Mogura, was recorded in various Berlin bedrooms and offers esoteric, danceable takes on jungle and drum and bass, tinged with acid, drawing on the electronic music of the 90s and early 2000s. Riboch also appears on the compilation V/A I (2025) with “Noa.BD4E” and as a guest on Avraham Kober’s “C.Z. Sentimental”.
